PARALEGALS
a trained legal support professional who works under the supervision of licensed attorneys, mostly in law firms (but also in corporate legal departments or government/legal aid settings). They perform substantive legal tasks and support litigation or transactional work, but do not provide legal advice or represent clients in court
ACCOUNTANTS
Accountants in law firms perform a mix of general accounting, financial management, compliance, and payroll-related duties that help ensure the firm runs smoothly from a financial standpoint. Their work is a critical support role to lawyers and firm partners.
SPECIALIZED LAW FIRM LAWS
positions that require particular expertise (finance, compliance, technology, risk, knowledge management, etc.) to support legal operations, client service, and firm growth.
